Do I have to be home during house cleanings?
Because we typically clean Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most of our customers aren't home but the vast majority trust SOS Cleaners with the key to their home. For additional security, all house keys are individually coded and cross-referenced.
What time does SOS arrive?
SOS Maids will arrive at the scheduled appointment time set between you the customer and SOS Maid service. Still, most homes fall easily into regularly scheduled cleaning windows between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. Saturdays are available upon request.
What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?
We treat you and your home with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item. What if my cleaner or cleaners missed a spot?
Our maids offer consistent, quality home cleaning. Like all new relationships, however, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. That's why we offer a house cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify us within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge.
Am I liable for workers' compensation, insurance or employment taxes?
SOS Maids is a simple, worry-free home cleaning service solution. That means we take care of personal liability with regard to work-related injury and social security taxes. Some independent maid services may not, which makes homeowners liable. With SOS Maids we are fully insured, and bonded for your protection and ours.

Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No. Every SOS Maids come prepared with all the cleaning supplies necessary. However, because SOS is flexible, if requested and provided, we can clean with your preferred products.
What happens if I need to reschedule my maid service?
SOS Maids works with you. Simply call 48-hours before your regularly scheduled home cleaning with a more convenient cleaning time. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs.
What if my home cleaning falls on a holiday?
We call to reschedule for a more convenient time when house cleanings fall on holidays. Your local SOS cleaner will also remind you about additional maid services in which you may have expressed an interest. Perhaps that means an additional clean prior to a big holiday party. If you've scheduled that extra holiday cleaning service, canceling or rescheduling does require 72-hours notice.
How do I pay for residential cleaning services?
Payments are due the day of your scheduled home cleaning service. Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to SOS Maids, however we also accept credit cards on our website.
Does SOS offer carpet cleaning?

How soon can I take cleaning off my chore list?
